Ezras Israel Memorial Book (5779)

Dear Friends,

The days between Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashana are distinct in their purpose. They are days of atonement, new resolves, and...reminiscence. Remembrance of past deeds and the memories of departed loved ones. Take a solemn moment to memorialize your relatives and friends. Celebrate them, be inspired by their lives and achievements. Commemorate their legacy by adding their names to this years’ Congregation Ezras Israel Memorial Book.

Please contact the congregation office by August 1st to add the names of your loved ones. The cost is $75 for the first four names and $20 per name thereafter. If you had a listing in the past, please contact the office to confirm your listing for this year.

In addition, the book contains artistic contributions on the theme of loss and memory, and the subject of our cover—70th Anniversary of the State of Israel. We welcome and appreciate your participation in this section of our book by sending your contribution (essays, poems, writings, articles, etc.) to the editors, Harve Tucker or Shayle Gerstein by July 16, 2018.

On behalf of our editors, Harve & Shayle, and our president, David S. Dordek, thank you for your commitment to this tradition. May the memory of the righteous be a blessing for our congregation.
