Yizkor Appeal

The Meaning of Yizkor
Yizkor, in Hebrew, means "Remember."

In this prayer, we ask G‑d to remember the souls of our relatives and friends that have passed on.
When we recite Yizkor, we strengthen the connection between us and our loved one, bringing merit to our departed loved ones souls.

Yizkor is our private pledge to give charity following the holiday in honor of the deceased. By giving charity, we are performing a positive physical deed in this world, something that the departed can no longer do.

For those that cannot attend services in person, we are offering a Zoom Yizkor. September 27th and 5:45pm (followed by a zoom Kol Nidrei).
Meeting ID: 755 235 1150
Password: 311176

Yizkor does not require a minyan and can be recited individually at home, following the instructions in any Siddur.

We all pray for the general good health of all or our family, friends and neighbors and for the speedy return to normalcy for Ezras Israel, ourselves and our families personally and all who have been afflicted in this pandemic.
