Ezras Israel Needs Your Support!

Our dues - still the lowest in the community - cover less than half of our annual budget. Donations to the Sabbath Kiddush Fund and through Yizkor mailings help offset the cost of running the synagogue, but the revenue we raise through the New Year appeal is vital to our financial stability.

Our goal is to have a commitment from every member to pledge $100, $36, or even $18, to ensure that our synagogue can continue to serve the community as it has for 123 years. Your donation, however large, is essential to reduce our projected deficit. We rely on every dollar contributed through this, our only direct appeal in the year, to ensure the lights stay lit and the doors stay open to all.

Our synagogue's dues don't cover our annual costs, and we rely on this, our only appeal during the year to fill the gap. As we enter the new year, enjoy the time-honored traditions of the chagim, and establish a new one of tzedakah to Ezras Israel!

The Night Kosher Indian Food Came to Chicago

Ezras Israel's Innovative Pop-Up Kitchen brought over 200 Chicagoans together for an amazing night of dairy and vegan Kosher Indian food.

Our esteemed chefs from Meat Your Vegetables treated everyone to a cooking demo, while the room twinkled with candlelight!

A special thank you for these beautiful photos goes to our Platinum Sponsor, Deja Views.
