About Us
Congregation Ezras Israel has the significant distinction of having served the Jewish community for more than 120 years and is still going strong. We are proud of this accomplishment and proud that we remain an essential part of the Jewish Community with one of the most active Traditional/Orthodox synagogue memberships in the Chicago area and in the entire Midwest.
We will have two services for the High Holidays.
- Hashkama minyan coordinated by Nosson Czako and Ira Rosenberg
- Beis Medrish 9:00am minyan led by our Rabbi Falk
Ezras Israel remains a tremendous bargain in the West Rogers Park Neighborhood. We are very proud of the active and vibrant membership and programing that we provide.
- Minyanim twice a day
- Choice of two davening times on Shabbat
- Providing childcare during services on Shabbat and on holidays.
- Offering a variety of learning opportunities throughout the week by educated and passionate rabbis.
Ezras Israel is especially proud that we offer two programs that are financially beneficial to many of our congregants.
- Day School Education Grants
- JUF Skip Israel Program
